A  training  and  evaluation  tool  for  calling  live  performances

The old way of training a stage manager to call a show was to sit in front of a video and guess on cue placement.  But it was like learning to play a musical instrument without actually hearing the instrument - you never knew if you were learning the cues correctly until you were working live in front of potentially dozens of crew members and performers.

The Stage Manager Simulator builds upon the concept of training simulators for air traffic controllers but with the intuitive user interface of popular games (our lead programmer worked on the Guitar Hero line of video games).  Practice calling cues to a recording of an actual show and voice recognition software tells you immediately if you are early/late and calling the cue correctly.  Test your accuracy and stamina in calling full-length productions.  Learn to call dance, opera, theatre, and more!
