How it works
1. Create an account
Create your own username/password. This free account will allow you to store your show modules and even re-download show modules if you switch computers. [This feature is not yet available - look for it in late Summer 2012]
If you are teaching a course or training new stage managers, you may also create a free instructor/supervisor code.

2. Download the simulator
The simulator engine is distributed freely, thanks to funding from an Innovations in Teaching with Technology Award from the University of Iowa and the software components Sphinx (Carnegie Mellon) and Qt (Nokia).
3. Purchase and download Show Modules
To keep costs low for the user, you may purchase a 6-month subscription to a show module. We are currently researching either PayPal or Amazon as reputable and safe payment processors. Once notification of payment has been received, you will be able to download a show module. The show module resides on your hard drive and can be accessed with your user key code. By downloading the full show in advance, we reduce the chance that a slow internet connection could affect video playback (you will still need to be connected online for scoring). Also, if multiple subscribers are using the same computer, they can download a module once and then use it with each authorized user key code.
4. Open the Simulator, Log In, and ...Go!

Enter your account information, and if you are a student or training for a new show, enter your instructor/supervisor's code. Your supervisor will receive a report that you used this software, along with scoring information.
In future releases, we hope to offer a social media option to post your score to challenge friends and colleagues.
